Basic Rope Braid

1. Start with clean, well-combed hair (It is a little bit easier to do when wet).
2. Pull your hair back into a ponytail and secured with an elastic band.
3. Separate the ponytail into three equal sections.
4. Twist the right section to the right several times, then cross it all the way over the other two sections.
5. Repeat step four until the braid is the desired length.
6. Tie with an elastic band when the braid is as long as you want it.
7. Finish off with a little bit of hairspray to hold the braid secure.

It may take more than one time to perfect and try and be patient. Remember to hold the sections as firmly as possible for a firm tight braid.  Sometimes practicing the braid on someone else’s hair is a big help and often makes it easier to do on your own hair.  Good Luck!

I’d say this movie was one to remember and watch time and time again.  There were a few things that bothered me.  He was born looking like a small old person but when he died he looked like a normal baby, I think he should have died as a baby looking old person.  But other than that it was very good.  I couldn’t believe that Brad Pitt played Benjamin when he was small. It looked nothing like him.  Anyway I’d watch the movie anytime.

I recently started doing exercises meant  for belly dancing because they are an effective way of toning your ab-muscles without straining your back muscles.  Admitting to the world that I’m a person that most would not want to see belly dance (I’m not huge but I have leftover baby belly that I can’t get rid of), is not flattering but it’s true.  I think that every woman should belly dancing without feeling self conscience.  Historically skinny women weren’t even consider sexy belly dancer (gotta have those birthing hips!).  Anyway I’ve put upa few great links for belly dancing and I’ll continue to do so as I find good  ones.
